About the Artist

Stacey McGrath is a contemporary oil painter whose work explores the quiet beauty of natural forms. Her work blends natural realism with impressionistic technique, capturing the essence and emotion of her subjects. Her collections are grounded in observation and a deep sense of place, ranging from the seasonal botanicals of the American South to the windswept pastures of Ireland.  She began painting at the age of 13 in Japan, and has been learning and evolving her artistic style ever since. Each place she has lived and studied—California, Chicago, Atlanta, and Ireland—has shaped her distinct approach and painting style.  

Her work has most recently been exhibited at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, Mosaic Georgia, Capital City Club, and—by invitation—at Irish Inspirations at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. She is currently exhibiting, also by invitation, at the Concourse King Tower in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
